I am very grateful for the continuing, enthusiastic support of the exhibition’s participants, who have contributed emarmously to the dynamic development of LABELSHOW - and to our national label market in Russia. Though we may speak different languages, we are all united by the language of labelling. LABELSHOW is a key factor in the promotion of the market's development.' Igor Smirenniy, President of the Russian packaging association Soyuzupak: 'There will be a mass transition to self-adhesive labelling in the near future. A niche market which will develop particularly dynamically is that for security labelling: here in Russia, anti-counterfeiting is currently a hot issue. "Not every country is able to stage an international label exhibition. There are 150 packaging exhibitions all over the world, and only a very few of them are dedicated to labels. We are proud that the Moscow LABELSHOW is today one of the two world exhibitions label exhibitions that are acknowledged the best.' Dmitriy Strechin of leading self-adhesive labelstock manufacturers Raflatac: We are experiencing huge demand from Russian label companies for self-adhesives. Many visitors to our stand this year have come from the most distant regions of Russia, from the Ukraine, the Baltic countries, Kazakhstan - all interested in learning about our products.
