A label is not only a place to put information about title, purpose, main qualities of the product and manufacturer’s data. Labeling helps solve main problems of marketing: providing information on the product for a potential customer, advertisement, promotion of goods in the market, falsification prevention, provides more convenient payments when selling and buying goods. And what’s the most important – it’s the easiest and cheapest way to outline your product from the circle of competitive goods, draw attention and act as an impulse to making a purchase! A label is a business card of your trademark, so it must be of the finest quality. In accordance with this definition, the topic of Labelshow exhibition undertakes to demonstrate a full cycle of label creation – from design elaboration, then production with the use of the brand-new technology and equipment, to promotion of the end product on the market. Labelshow-2008 offered its visitors a new conception: printing and labeling equipment from biggest world manufacturers was traditionally presented at the exposition, but the key point shifted to the producers of consumables for label manufacturing. Besides, the number of exhibitors-print shops, manufacturers and suppliers of labeling production has increased. Till last year the exhibition attracted print-shops first of all (and actually this influenced emerging big print shops which have specialization in label printing!), then now it has become an exhibition for end customers – manufacturers of food, drink, other customer goods. They’ll be interested in new arrivals, first entering Russian label market, for instance, metal labels for alcoholic drinks, plastic metal-based labels, security labels, RFID-technologies etc. Next year we’re going to keep the exhibition developing and shifting to design sphere: along with traditional conferences – the 3rd International Conference “Modern label: production and business strategies” (Organized by: International Exhibition Company MVK, “Tare and package” magazine, “Flexography and special kinds of printing” magazine), master-classes for label design, brand creation will be held in the framework of the exhibition. We are glad to welcome design-studios to take part in the master-classes! Regular exhibition visitors are the following: businessmen, Moscow and regional print shops, management of enterprises and specialists of printing equipment, bottle labeling, self-adhesive materials, food, alcohol, chemical, printing, construction, pharmaceutical, perfumer and light industry. A special interest towards the exhibition is also shown from distributing facilities and trade organizations, design-studios. We expect up to 10 000 visitors to come to Labelshow 2009. In accordance with a new conception we also changed an arrangement of expositions. In 2009 Labelshow is going to combine with PolygraphInter and PapExpo, that gives both attendees and exhibitors a unique opportunity of surveying the whole range of printing industry services. At one place and time you’ll be able to see new products in equipment, consumables for printing, and brand new technologies for label creation, one of the most important instruments of product promotion!
